Applying for College
| 1.) What is the first step in applying for college?
The first step is filling out the application. Use Keydegree.com to find the school of your choice and simply fill out the application form. Once you submit the application in its entirety you will be notified at a later date of your acceptance.

2.) How do I know what the requirements are for a specific degree program? Each major had its one set of requirements and each school has its own requirements. You will have to decide on the school and then refer to that school's own requirements in order to earn the degree you want to earn.

3.) How long does it take to complete a degree program?
Typically an Associates degree takes two years, a Bachelors degree takes four years, and a Masters degree takes two additional years after earning a Bachelors degree. The time frame can vary if the student goes part time, takes a leave of absence, or takes course unrelated to the requirements of their chosen major.

4.) Can I change my major after I have decided on one?
Yes. A student can change there major at any time. However, the student may have to take extra classes to meet the requirements of a different major.
