Applying for Financial Aid
| 1.) Where do I apply for financial aid?
You can apply for financial aid online through http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.

2.) Do I need to be admitted before I can apply for financial aid at a particular university?
No. You can apply for financial aid any time after January 1. You will not actually receive funding until you are admitted and enrolled at the university.

3.) Do I have to reapply for financial aid every year?
Yes, every year you should apply for financial aid. You will receive a renewal letter in the mail.

4.) Who qualifies for financial aid?
Everyone who applies for financial aid qualifies so long as they are a U.S. citizen or qualified legal resident, are not in default status on any previous federal loans, and the student is at a school that is eligible to receive financial aid.

5.) How much financial aid will I receive?
The amount of financial aid is distributed specific to each applicant, the number of years the applicant is in school, and the financial situation of the applicant.
